Pen Vee K

Pen-Vee K (penicillin V potassium) is a penicillin-class antibiotic. It works by binding to specific penicillin-binding proteins inside the bacterial cell wall, inhibiting cell wall synthesis and leading to bacterial cell death.

Dosage by Body Weight

Dosage must be individualized according to the severity of the infection and patient response. It is best taken on an empty stomach, either 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals, to maximize absorption. Always complete the entire prescribed course.
