Nytol

Nytol is an over-the-counter sleep aid containing diphenhydramine hydrochloride, a sedating antihistamine. It works by blocking the body's response to histamine, helping to reduce alertness and induce drowsiness to facilitate sleep.

Dosage by Body Weight

For adults and adolescents aged 16 years and over: Take 50 mg (typically 2 x 25mg tablets or 1 x 50mg tablet) with water 20 minutes before going to bed. Do not use for more than 7 to 10 consecutive nights without consulting a doctor. Not recommended for children under 16 years.
