Norco
Norco is a prescription combination pain reliever containing hydrocodone, an opioid analgesic, and acetaminophen, a non-opioid pain reliever and antipyretic. It is indicated for the management of pain severe enough to require an opioid analgesic and for which alternative treatments are inadequate.
Dosage by Body Weight
Take exactly as prescribed. The typical adult dose is 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen must not exceed 4,000 mg (equivalent to 12 Norco 325 mg tablets, though lower thresholds of 3,000 mg or 6 tablets are often recommended to prevent liver toxicity).
