Myatro
Myatro is a sterile ophthalmic solution containing low-dose Atropine Sulfate (0.01%). It is primarily prescribed by pediatric ophthalmologists to slow down the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in school-aged children. By relaxing the eye's focusing muscles, it helps control axial length elongation of the eye.
Dosage by Body Weight
The typical dosage is 1 drop instilled in the affected eye(s) once daily at bedtime, or as prescribed by an ophthalmologist. Press the inner corner of the eye (lacrimal sac) for 1-2 minutes after instillation to minimize systemic absorption.
