Multaq

Multaq (dronedarone) is an antiarrhythmic drug used to maintain normal sinus rhythm in patients with a history of atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter. It works by affecting the electrical activity of the heart muscle, specifically by blocking potassium, sodium, and calcium channels.

Dosage by Body Weight

The standard adult dose of Multaq is 400 mg taken twice daily with morning and evening meals. It is not prescribed to pediatric patients, and dosing is not adjusted by body weight.
