Mometasone (Medium Potency)

Mometasone furoate is a medium-potency topical corticosteroid. It works by activating natural substances in the skin to reduce swelling, redness, and itching. Because of its medium strength, it is effective for moderate skin conditions but must be used with caution, particularly in children, to avoid systemic absorption.

Dosage by Body Weight

Apply a thin film to the affected skin areas once daily. Rub in gently and completely. Do not use with occlusive dressings (bandages, plastic wrap) unless directed by a doctor. Avoid contact with eyes and do not use on the face, underarms, or groin area for extended periods.
