Lyclear

Lyclear contains the active ingredient permethrin, which belongs to a group of medicines called pyrethroids. It is a topical insecticide used to eradicate scabies mites and head lice by disrupting their nervous systems.

Dosage by Body Weight

For Scabies (5% Cream): Apply to clean, dry, cool skin over the entire body (excluding head in adults, but including face, neck, scalp, and ears in infants and elderly). Leave on for 8-14 hours, then wash off completely. Usually one application is curative. For Head Lice (1% Creme Rinse): Apply to damp, shampooed hair, leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
