Librax
Librax is a combination prescription medication containing chlordiazepoxide hydrochloride and clidinium bromide. Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine that helps reduce anxiety, while clidinium bromide is an anticholinergic agent that helps decrease stomach acid and spasms in the gastrointestinal tract.
Dosage by Body Weight
The standard adult dosage is 1 or 2 capsules, 3 or 4 times daily, taken 30 to 60 minutes before meals and at bedtime. Dosage should be individualized. Safety and effectiveness in children have not been established.
