Lanolin Topical

Lanolin topical is an emollient (skin softening agent) obtained from sheep's wool. It works by forming an oily layer on top of the skin that traps water in the skin, helping to moisturize, soothe, and protect irritated or damaged tissues. It is highly purified for medical and cosmetic use, making it generally safe for infant skin and nursing mothers.

Dosage by Body Weight

Apply a thin layer topically to the affected skin area as needed. For diaper rash, apply at every diaper change after cleaning and drying the area. For sore nipples during breastfeeding, apply a small pea-sized amount to the nipple area after feeding; medical-grade 100% pure lanolin does not need to be washed off before the next feed.
