Keto

Keto contains Ketoconazole, an imidazole antifungal agent. It works by preventing the growth of fungal cell walls, thereby stopping the infection. Oral formulations carry risks of hepatotoxicity and should only be used when alternative therapies are not available or tolerated.

Dosage by Body Weight

For adults, the typical oral dose is 200 mg to 400 mg once daily. Topical formulations (cream or shampoo) should be applied to the affected area once or twice daily or as directed by a physician. Not recommended for self-medication.
