K-Phos

K-Phos is a prescription medication used to make urine more acidic, which helps prevent certain types of kidney stones. It is also used as a phosphorus supplement to treat or prevent hypophosphatemia.

Dosage by Body Weight

Take with a full glass of water. K-Phos Original tablets should be dissolved in water before taking. Adult dosage is typically 1 to 2 tablets four times daily, with meals and at bedtime. Pediatric dosage must be determined by a physician based on serum phosphorus levels.
