A non-ionic iron formulation that is often better tolerated than iron salts. It has a lower incidence of gastric irritation and does not stain teeth as easily.

Dosage by Body Weight

Pediatric therapeutic dose: 3-6 mg of elemental iron per kg daily. Can be taken with or without food as it does not interact with most dietary components.
