Insuman Rapid
Insuman Rapid is a fast-acting human insulin (recombinant DNA origin) solution for injection. It is used to lower blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes mellitus. It has a rapid onset of action (approximately 30 minutes), peaks within 1 to 3 hours, and has a duration of action of about 5 to 7 hours. It is usually administered subcutaneously, but can also be given intravenously under medical supervision.
Dosage by Body Weight
Dosage must be highly individualized and determined by a healthcare provider based on the patient's metabolic needs, blood glucose monitoring, dietary habits, and physical activity. It is typically administered subcutaneously 30 minutes before a meal.
