Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen

Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen is a fixed-dose combination medication containing a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and a non-aspirin pain reliever/fever reducer. Ibuprofen works by reducing hormones that cause pain and inflammation in the body, while acetaminophen changes how the body senses pain and cools the body down to reduce fever.

Dosage by Body Weight

For adults and children 12 years of age and older: Take 2 tablets (typically containing 125 mg Ibuprofen and 250 mg Acetaminophen per tablet, totaling 250 mg/500 mg per dose) every 8 hours while symptoms persist. Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours.
