Galvus

Galvus (vildagliptin) is an oral antihyperglycemic agent belonging to the dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor class. It works by inhibiting the degradation of incretin hormones, thereby increasing insulin secretion and decreasing glucagon secretion in a glucose-dependent manner.
