Frusenex

Frusenex contains Furosemide, a potent loop diuretic (water pill) that prevents the body from absorbing too much salt. This allows the salt to be passed in the urine instead, carrying excess water with it. By increasing urine production, it reduces swelling and fluid buildup in the body's tissues and lowers blood pressure.

Dosage by Body Weight

Dosage is highly individualized and must be determined by a healthcare provider. It is usually taken once daily in the morning to prevent urination from disrupting sleep. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolyte levels (particularly potassium) is highly recommended during therapy.
