Ferosig XT

Ferosig XT is an oral iron and vitamin supplement combining Ferrous Ascorbate and Folic Acid. Ferrous ascorbate is an easily absorbed form of iron that replenishes the body's iron stores and increases hemoglobin production. Folic acid (Vitamin B9) is vital for red blood cell synthesis and helps prevent neural tube defects during fetal development.

Dosage by Body Weight

For adults, the typical dosage is one tablet daily, preferably taken on an empty stomach one hour before or two hours after meals for maximum absorption. If gastrointestinal upset occurs, it may be taken with food. Do not take with tea, coffee, dairy products, or antacids, as they can decrease iron absorption.
