Falc Syrup
Falc Syrup is a combination antimalarial medication containing Artemether and Lumefantrine. Artemether rapidly kills malaria parasites in the blood, while Lumefantrine acts more slowly to eliminate the remaining parasites. It is highly effective for pediatric cases of uncomplicated falciparum malaria.
Dosage by Body Weight
To be taken with fatty food or milk to enhance absorption. The standard regimen is a 3-day course consisting of 6 doses total: an initial dose, a second dose 8 hours later, and then twice daily (morning and evening) for the following 2 days.
