Eltroxin

Eltroxin contains Levothyroxine, a synthetic version of the thyroid hormone thyroxine (T4) naturally produced by the thyroid gland. It is prescribed to replace or supplement thyroxine deficiency to restore normal physical and mental metabolic activity.

Dosage by Body Weight

Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually as a single daily dose on an empty stomach, 30 to 60 minutes before breakfast. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Avoid taking antacids, calcium, or iron supplements within 4 hours of this medication as they can decrease its absorption.
