Clobetasol
Clobetasol propionate is an ultra-high-potency topical corticosteroid. It works by depressing the formation, release, and activity of endogenous chemical mediators of inflammation. It is used for short-term treatment of inflammatory skin conditions and is generally restricted from long-term or widespread use due to the risk of adrenal suppression.
Dosage by Body Weight
Apply a thin film to the affected skin areas 1 to 2 times daily. Rub in gently and completely. Limit treatment to 14 consecutive days and do not exceed 50 g per week. Avoid contact with face, groin, or axillae, and do not use with occlusive dressings unless advised by a physician.
