Clindamycin

A lincosamide antibiotic that stops bacterial growth. It is often used for penicillin-allergic patients or MRSA infections.

Dosage by Body Weight

Pediatric oral dose: 8-20 mg/kg/day divided into 3 or 4 doses. Risk of C. difficile diarrhea; report severe diarrhea immediately.
