Charcocaps
Charcocaps is an over-the-counter medication containing activated charcoal, which is used to alleviate symptoms of excess intestinal gas, such as bloating, pressure, and flatulence. It works by adsorbing gas-producing substances in the digestive tract.
Dosage by Body Weight
For adults and children 12 years of age and older: Take 2 capsules with water, preferably after meals or at the first sign of discomfort. Do not exceed 16 capsules per day. Do not take within 2 hours of other medications, as activated charcoal may reduce their effectiveness.
