Cipralex
Cipralex is an antidepressant medication containing escitalopram, which belongs to a class of drugs known as Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs). Dosage by Body Weight
The standard adult dose is 10 mg taken once daily, with or without food, which may be increased to a maximum of 20 mg daily. For elderly patients, the recommended starting dose is 5 mg daily, with a maximum of 10 mg daily. Treatment should be continued for several months to ensure symptom resolution. This medication is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
