Ceftum

Ceftum is a broad-spectrum second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic containing Cefuroxime Axetil. It is highly effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, working by preventing the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, which eventually leads to the elimination of the infection.

Dosage by Body Weight

Ceftum should be taken with or immediately after food to maximize absorption and reduce gastrointestinal side effects. The exact dosage and duration of treatment depend on the type and severity of infection, and must be prescribed by a physician. Complete the full course of therapy even if symptoms improve.
