Canesten

Canesten is a widely used brand of antifungal medication containing the active ingredient clotrimazole. It works by inhibiting the growth of yeast and fungi that cause infections of the skin and vaginal area.

Dosage by Body Weight

For skin infections: Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2 to 3 times daily and rub in gently. For vaginal thrush: Insert one pessary or vaginal cream applicator high into the vagina at night, typically as a single dose or over 3 to 6 consecutive days.
