Betadine Ointment

Betadine Ointment is a topical antiseptic containing Povidone-Iodine. It exerts a broad-spectrum microbicidal effect against bacteria, fungi, viruses, and protozoa by slowly releasing iodine. It does not cause resistance and is commonly used for wound care and minor skin infections.

Dosage by Body Weight

Clean and dry the affected area. Apply a thin layer of ointment 1 to 3 times daily. The treated area may be covered with a sterile bandage if necessary. For external topical use only.
