Bepotastine

Bepotastine is a topically and orally active second-generation antihistamine and mast cell stabilizer. It works by blocking histamine H1 receptors and suppressing the release of inflammatory mediators. It is widely prescribed as eye drops for allergic conjunctivitis and as oral tablets in some countries for allergic rhinitis and skin conditions.

Dosage by Body Weight

For ophthalmic solution (1.5%): Instill 1 drop into each affected eye twice daily. For oral tablets (where approved): Typically 10 mg twice daily for adults and children over 7 years of age. Dosing is age-based rather than weight-based. Always consult a physician.
