Allercet

Allercet contains Cetirizine, a second-generation antihistamine that selectively inhibits peripheral H1 receptors. It helps control allergic reactions by blocking the effects of histamine, which is responsible for triggering symptoms like itching, swelling, and runny nose. Unlike first-generation antihistamines, it has low penetration into the central nervous system, making it significantly less sedating.

Dosage by Body Weight

Can be taken with or without food, usually once daily in the evening due to mild sedative potential. Pediatric doses are lower and should be adjusted carefully using oral drops or syrup.
