Allegra

Allegra (fexofenadine) is a second-generation antihistamine used to treat seasonal allergy symptoms and chronic hives. Unlike older antihistamines, it is non-drowsy as it does not readily cross the blood-brain barrier.

Dosage by Body Weight

Adults and children 12 years and older: 180 mg once daily or 60 mg twice daily. Children 2 to 11 years: 30 mg twice daily. Children 6 months to under 2 years: 15 mg twice daily. Do not take with fruit juice.
