Adcirca
Adcirca is a phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitor containing the active ingredient tadalafil. It works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels in the lungs, which decreases the blood pressure in the lungs and improves the heart's efficiency.
Dosage by Body Weight
The standard adult dose is 40 mg (two 20 mg tablets) taken once daily, with or without food. Do not split the dose. For pediatric patients (2 years and older), dosing is weight-based.
