Aclidinium

Aclidinium is a long-acting anticholinergic (muscarinic antagonist) bronchodilator. It relaxes the smooth muscle of the airways to improve airflow and reduce shortness of breath in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It is used for daily maintenance and is not intended for the relief of acute bronchospasm.

Dosage by Body Weight

The standard adult dosage is one inhalation of 400 mcg twice daily (once in the morning and once in the evening) using the dry powder inhaler device. It is not approved for pediatric use.
