A+D Original Ointment
A+D Original Ointment is a topical skin protectant formulated with petrolatum and lanolin. It forms a protective barrier on the skin that seals out wetness, helping to prevent and treat diaper rash in infants, while also providing relief for minor skin irritations, chapping, and superficial scrapes in both pediatric and adult patients.
Dosage by Body Weight
For external use only. For diaper rash: Change wet and soiled diapers promptly, cleanse the diaper area, and allow to dry. Apply ointment liberally as often as necessary, with each diaper change, especially at bedtime or anytime when exposure to wet diapers may be prolonged. For minor skin irritations: Apply to the affected area as needed.
